Linda: Hi Mark.
Linda: What are you planning to do today?
Mark: I’m not sure yet.
Linda: Would you like to have lunch with me?
Mark: Yes. When?
Linda: Is 11:30AM OK?
Mark: Sorry, I didn’t hear you. Can you say that again please?
Linda: I said, 11:30AM.
Mark: Oh, I’m busy then. Can we meet a little later?
Linda: OK, how about 12:30PM?
Mark: OK. Where?
Linda: How about Bill’s Seafood Restaurant?
Mark: Oh, Where is that?
Linda: It’s on 7th Street.
Mark: OK, I’ll meet you there.
Lesson 10 – Order food.
Host: Hello sir, welcome to the French Garden Restaurant. How many?
Host: Right this way. Please have a seat. Your waitress will be with you in a moment.
Waitress: Hello sir, would you like to order now?
Charles: Yes please.
Waitress: What would you like to drink?
Charles: What do you have?
Waitress: We have bottled water, juice, and Coke.
Charles: I’ll have a bottle of water please.
Waitress: What would you like to eat?
Charles: I’ll have a tuna fish sandwich and a bowl of vegetable soup.
Lesson 11 – Now or later?
Elizabeth: Chris, where are you going?
Chris: I’m going to the store. I need to buy something.
Elizabeth: Really? I need to go to the store too.
Chris: Would you like to come with me?
Elizabeth: Yeah, let’s go together.
Chris: Would you like to go now or later?
Elizabeth: Now would be better.
Chris: OK, let’s go.
Elizabeth: Should we walk?
Chris: No, it’s too far. Let’s drive.
Lesson 12 – Do you have enough money?
Ann: Laura, what are you going to do today?
Laura: I’m going shopping.
Ann: What time are you leaving?
Laura: I’m going to leave around 4 O’clock.
Ann: Will you buy a ham sandwich for me at the store?
Ann: Do you have enough money?
Laura: I’m not sure.
Ann: How much do you have?
Laura: 25 dollars. Do you think that’s enough?
Ann: That’s not very much.
Laura: I think it’s OK. I also have two credit cards.
Ann: Let me give you another ten dollars.
Laura: Thanks. See you later.
